What does counseling look like for you?

Counseling is the sharing of personal feelings, stories, and experiences and is unique and individualized for everyone. Each person is the expert of their own life and holds the answers within themselves, but may need some assistance in finding their answers. Therefore, the counselor is not an expert at life, rather a trained professional who can help navigate difficult situations and support changes that improve overall well-being.

Offering in-person or video sessions, I use a variety of techniques that best fit your individual needs. Some common focuses in therapy include: anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, challenging and difficult relationships, trauma, and PTSD.
